Robert Downey Jr.‘s Doctor Doom will reportedly wear different armors in Avengers: Doomsday. In the first act, he will appear in the armor seen in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. After reaching the X-Men universe with the Avengers and the Fantastic Four, he will change into another, more powerful armor. He is also said to wear a different armor at the end of the film.
According to scooper James Mack, Doctor Doom will reportedly wear his white armor in the final scene of Avengers: Doomsday, sitting on his throne in Battleworld. We will see “God Emperor Doom,” his most powerful form, after he steals Loki’s powers.
After erasing everyone’s memories on Battleworld, Doctor Doom will reportedly make Sue Storm his wife and Franklin his son. This is a reference to what happens in the 2015 Secret Wars comic.
Below, you can see the concept art leaked last year featuring Doctor Doom on his throne, wearing a white tunic and cloak.
In a recently leaked image, you can see Doctor Doom’s white God Emperor Doom armor from Avengers: Doomsday. If legitimate, Doom standing victorious over his kingdom would make for a cliffhanger ending to the film, drawing comparisons to Thanos watching the sunrise after succeeding in Avengers: Infinity War.
The scooper also shared a few updates, including that Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes will reportedly face Doctor Doom in a 2v1 fight during the final battle at his castle in Latveria. The scene is said to be similar to Steve and Bucky’s confrontation with Tony Stark in Captain America: Civil War.
Moon Knight will also reportedly make a brief appearance in Avengers: Doomsday as Mr. Knight.
According to scooper @MyTimeToShineH, Avengers: Doomsday is currently undergoing additional filming ahead of its December release.

Avengers: Doomsday ticket sales have begun on Fandango, and the film is scheduled to hit theaters across the United States on December 18, 2026.
