A new comic book promotional art for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday has been revealed, featuring the Avengers vs. Doctor Doom.
Marvel has released a new special wraparound cover for the comic Avengers: Armageddon #5, which features the official cast of the upcoming movie Avengers: Doomsday. (Note: The cover is promotional material for Avengers: Doomsday.)
This could be the final battle, with all the heroes uniting against Doctor Doom. Kevin Feige recently teased the ending of Avengers: Doomsday.
“I don’t wanna spoil anything, but I think that they will be incredibly satisfied and yet incredibly surprised of where it’s headed. We’ll have a hard time waiting a year for the next one [Secret Wars].”
Avengers: Armageddon #5 concludes the five-issue series on October 21, 2026.

Avengers: Doomsday was filmed with an unfinished script, with Joe Russo explaining in a recent interview with AP News that the Russo Brothers are “improvisation-based” and “rehearsal-based directors.” They like to see what actors bring to their characters, and some actors only join the production a few days or weeks before filming. According to Russo, “that’s when the magic happens.”
