A new look at Robert Downey Jr.’s Victor Von Doom in his new suit and mask from Avengers: Doomsday has been revealed by Hot Toys.
The newly announced 1/6th-scale collectible figure of Victor Von Doom shows the early suit he wears at the beginning of Doomsday. “All of you have lived stolen lives. Now you must give them back.” – Victor Von Doom
Hot Toys described the Victor Von Doom 1/6th-scale collectible figure as “A master of both cutting-edge science and ancient sorcery, Victor Von Doom commands respect and instills fear across the Multiverse.”
In a recent interview, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige teased the ending of Avengers: Doomsday.
“I don’t wanna spoil anything, but I think that they will be incredibly satisfied and yet incredibly surprised at where it’s headed. We’ll have a hard time waiting a year for the next one, Secret Wars.”
Feige described Avengers: Doomsday as a special film because Marvel can now use characters it could not include during the Infinity Saga.
“This time we can do some things we couldn’t do with Avengers 4, which is to bring in some of Marvel’s most iconic characters: the biggest being the X-Men, then the Fantastic Four, and of course, Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom. These characters weren’t even in our ‘toybox’ during the Infinity Saga. Only when we bring these characters back can we tell the grand story of Avengers 5 and Avengers 6, including a literally cosmic collision, with some of your favorite characters in each universe.”
“Doom’s command is brought to life with multiple interchangeable hands alongside specialized accessories, including translucent green-colored flame effects and a pair of hands surrounded by translucent green and black krackle effects, depicting Doom channeling formidable mystic power. A specially designed figure stand with dual interchangeable display poles completes the set.”
