Today, Netflix unveiled the first look poster for ‘The Witcher Season 3‘. The poster features the first look at Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, and Freya Allan as Ciri. According to Empire, the Season 3 trailer will drop tomorrow (April 26, 2023) on Netflix.
This season, we are going to lose Henry Cavill, and Season 3 will be his final season playing Geralt of Rivia. From Season 4 onwards, Liam Hemsworth will replace the role of Cavill. See the poster below.
The Witcher Netflix series follows the adventures of Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter known as a witcher, in a medieval fantasy world called the Continent. Geralt battles monsters navigate political intrigues and uncover dark secrets while trying to find his place in a world that often treats witchers with suspicion and fear. The show also explores the stories of other characters, including Yennefer, a powerful sorceress, and Ciri, a princess with unique abilities.
The Netflix series was created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. She serves as the showrunner and executive producer of the series. Hissrich is an experienced television writer and producer known for her work on shows such as “Daredevil,” “The Defenders,” and “Umbrella Academy.” She was also a writer on “The West Wing” and “Private Practice,” among other TV shows.
The Witcher seasons 1 and 2 are now available on Netflix. Season 3 will premiere on Netflix in 2023.
