Opening: Revenge and Betrayal

Fast X Review: Dom And His Family On Their Last Ride

Fast X opens with the events from Fast Five. Hernan Reyes, a drug lord, is revealed to have a son named Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa). Dante witnesses Dom (Vin Diesel) and Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) stealing his family’s money, resulting in the loss of their fortune and the death of his father. Driven by revenge, Dante first targets Cipher (Charlize Theron) and takes control of her army by kidnapping their families. Cipher manages to contact Dom and informs him about Dante’s actions.

Rome Betrayal and Chaos

Fast X new

The story moves to Rome, where Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), Tej Parker (Ludacris), Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel), and Han Lue (Sung Kang) are deceived by Dante during a mission. Dom and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) discover the betrayal but are unable to save Rome from the chaos unleashed by Dante. This turns Dom and his family into criminals. Tess (Brie Larson), Mr. Nobody’s daughter, and Aimes (Alan Ritchson) now lead the agency and are determined to capture Dom’s family. Dom and Dante arrange a meeting at a racing point, accompanied by Isabel (Daniela Melchior). During the race, Dante plants a bomb in Isabel’s car, leading to a dramatic intervention by Dom to save her.

A missile is launched at a plane carrying Roman, Tej, Han, and Ramsey, leaving their fate uncertain. Dante activates the bomb, intending to blow up a dam. However, Letty and Cipher manage to escape from the secret prison in Antarctica. As they strive for safety, a nuclear submarine emerges, surprising them both. To their astonishment, Gisele Yashar (Gal Gadot), believed to be dead, appears on the submarine, hinting at a possible alliance with Cipher.
