“The greatest evil in the conjuring universe returns.” The first trailer for ‘The Nun 2‘ has been revealed. The film will hit theaters on September 8, 2023, by Warner Bros. Pictures. Watch the trailer below.
According to the film’s plot:
1956 – France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face-to-face with Valak, the demon nun. Taissa Farmiga returns as Sister Irene, joined by Jonas Bloquet, Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell, and Bonnie Aarons, surrounded by an ensemble cast of international talent.

Directed by Michael Chaves from a screenplay by Akela Cooper, Ian Goldberg, and Richard Naing from a story by Cooper. The film is a sequel to The Nun (2018) and the ninth installment in ‘The Conjuring‘ Universe franchise. The film tells the story of a nun in Romania who takes her own life, and the investigation that ensues to uncover the truth behind her death. James Wan and Peter Safran return as co-producers, with Judson Scott also serving as a producer.
