Amazon’s ‘The Wheel of Time’ First Look Revealed With Release Date

The first look and release date for Amazon‘s ‘The Wheel of Time‘ has been revealed. The series is based on the best-selling book series of the same name by Robert Jordan. Check out the first-look image below.

The Wheel of Time takes place in a sprawling fantasy world where magic exists and powerful women called Aes Sedai can wield it. The story follows Moiraine Damodred (Rosamund Pike), a member of the Aes Sedai, as she embarks on a dangerous journey with a group of young people, including Rand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski), Egwene al’Vere (Madeleine Madden), Perrin Aybara (Marcus Rutherford), and Nynaeve al’Meara (Zoë Robins).

Together, they must navigate a world torn apart by conflict and try to prevent the Dark One, an evil entity who wants to destroy the world, from breaking free from his prison.

The series features an ensemble cast that also includes Daniel Henney, Barney Harris, and Michael McElhatton, among others. The first season of The Wheel of Time consists of eight episodes, and it has been renewed for a second season.
