The Latverian Witches will have a big role in the third act of Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday. These three witches serve Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, performing rituals and helping Doom carry out his multiverse-collapsing plan. They are also some big names behind the masks, and once fans find out who they are, they will be shocked.
According to scooper James Mack, in Doomsday, “One of the Witches of Latveria will invade the Baxter Building to kidnap Franklin, while Torres, Bucky, Johnny, Sue, Ghost, and Shuri are on the scene. Johnny will be fascinated by her, just like he was with Shalla-Bal in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.”
Also, Doctor Doom will send Doombots to destroy cities and speed up the incursion into Earth-616 in Avengers: Doomsday. The heroes will try to stop them.
A recent listing on British Stunt Register profile of stunt performer Stevie Parker lists her credits as the stunt double for Hayley Atwell, Sandra Hüller, Katya Hazel Boirand, and Josie Pocock in Avengers: Doomsday. These actresses are rumored to play Doctor Doom’s three witches.
In a recent interview with Fandango, director Joe Russo revealed how powerful Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom is and discussed his magic.
He said, “Doom’s magic is ancient.” He added, “He is a very powerful character, as you can see in the trailer, and he’s a genius. He studies his foes. He understands them, and he’s also well-planned. He’s not somebody who just does something off the cuff.”
Russo continued, “Everything is meticulous with him, and he knows that if he’s going to step onto a battlefield against somebody, he has to have the tactical advantage or a power advantage against that person. So, he’s very difficult to beat.”

Avengers: Doomsday releases exclusively in cinemas on December 18, 2026. The film will be available in INFINITY VISION, a new certification for Premium Large Format (PLF) cinemas.
