The VOD release date for ‘Carmen‘ has been announced. The film, starring Melissa Barrera and Paul Mescal, will be available to rent or purchase on popular digital platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, and Google Play Movies & TV on July 11, 2023.
What Is ‘Carmen’ Plot About?
Carmen is a young woman with a hauntingly beautiful voice. She is an orphan, and while her life has been hard, she has always dreamed of becoming a singer. One day, when she was singing in the park to make money for food and clothes, she met the love of her life: Don Jose. At first, Jose was delighted to hear Carmen’s voice and instantly fell in love with her. He was a soldier in the army but had become disillusioned with life and wanted to escape. He planned to run away, but after he met Carmen, he did not want to leave her. Jose then decided to desert the army and ran away with Carmen.
The DVD and Blu-ray release date for ‘Carmen’ is set for July 11, 2023.
Benjamin Millepied makes his first feature film. It stars Melissa Barrera as Carmen, Paul Mescal as Aidan, Rossy de Palma as Masilda, Tracy “The DOC” Curry, and Elsa Pataky. The screenplay was written by Alexander Dinelaris Jr., Loïc Barrère, and Millepied, based on a story by Millepied and Barrère.
