That’s a wrap for Celine Song‘s upcoming rom-com ‘Materialists,’ starring Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal, and Chris Evans.
The film had a continuous 38-day shoot across New York City. It is not surprising that every day we saw photographs and footage of the filming featuring Johnson, Pascal, and Evans.
We found footage from the last day of filming, featuring Johnson and Evans in Brooklyn, New York. Johnson was wearing a classic white shirt and blue jeans, while Evans was dressed casually in a checked shirt and pants.
Here’s the official synopsis for Materialists:
‘Materialists’ is set against the vibrant backdrop of New York City, a city that never sleeps and is known for its diverse and dynamic relationships, Materialists provides a unique glimpse into the lives of the city’s elite. Lucy’s (Johnson) expertise in matchmaking is highly sought after by those willing to pay a premium for her services. However, the film hints at complications that arise, leading to a toxic love triangle that threatens to unravel the lives of all involved.
The rom-com is written and directed by Song, previously acclaimed for her breakout directorial debut ‘Past Lives‘. Zoë Winters, Dasha Nekrasova, Louisa Jacobson, and Marin Ireland also star in the film.
The film will have the same producers as ‘Past Lives’: Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler from Killer Films, along with David Hinojosa from 2AM.
