The scene being filmed features a romantic moment where Johnson and Evans share a kiss. Johnson is dressed in a stunning blue gown costume, while Evans looks dashing with his new hairstyle.
Recently, Johnson and Pedro Pascal were spotted filming on the set. In the scene, Pascal has a flower bouquet, and he is presenting it to Johnson.
‘The Materialists’ is set against the vibrant backdrop of New York City, a city that never sleeps and is known for its diverse and dynamic relationships, Materialists provides a unique glimpse into the lives of the city’s elite. Lucy’s (Johnson) expertise in matchmaking is highly sought after by those willing to pay a premium for her services. The rom-com is written and directed by Song, previously acclaimed for her breakout directorial debut ‘Past Lives‘. The film will have the same producers as ‘Past Lives’: Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler from Killer Films, along with David Hinojosa from 2AM.
