Born Again Season 2 is halfway through production, with the wrap expected by July 2025. In the images, Ritter is seen wearing the costume of Jessica Jones—a black leather jacket, faded jeans, and black boots—but the scarf is missing. Meanwhile, Cox is not wearing his Daredevil costume but is dressed in formal attire.
There are rumors that the Defenders team will appear in Season 2. Additionally, Finn Jones and Mike Colter are expected to return as Iron Fist and Luke Cage.
During the 2025 Disney upfront, a short teaser for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 was screened, and surprisingly, Ritter appeared—confirming her return in the upcoming season.
Ritter said, “It’s so great to be back, returning to Jessica after three seasons and The Defenders, and now joining the MCU.” Ritter added, “I’m so excited to bring back this iconic character, and without giving too much away, there is much more in store for Jessica Jones. This is going to be an incredible season!”

Daredevil: Born Again follows Matt Murdock (Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, as he fights for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (D’Onofrio) pursues his own political ambitions in New York. When their past identities begin to resurface, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ in March 2026 with eight episodes released weekly, as part of the MCU’s Phase Six. Season 1 is now streaming on Disney+.
