Ahead of the teaser trailer’s release next month, we’ve received an exclusive leaked update on Chris Evans’ look in Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday.
According to insider @majestic_ucm, who claims to have seen a leaked image of Evans in Doomsday, the actor’s costume features an ugly brown jacket, a black t-shirt, brown pants with a black belt and silver buckle, and, notably, his signature beard. Evans is reportedly holding Mjolnir and sporting the same beard style as in Infinity War, though his hair appears slightly longer this time.
Although Marvel Studios has not yet officially announced Evans’ role in Avengers: Doomsday, he has been spotted filming several important scenes at Windsor Great Park. As previously reported, “Steve Rogers going back in time at the end of Avengers: Endgame to live happily with Peggy Carter is set to be a major plot point in Avengers: Doomsday, as his actions created incursions in the multiverse. Steve not only chose to stay in the past with Carter, but he also began altering events. Therefore, for the multiverse to survive, Steve must die.”
There will be a second phase of the “chair reveal” (lasting 5–6 hours) for the rest of the Avengers: Doomsday cast, planned for December 18, 2025. Don’t expect cameos during this event — it will focus on the central cast. There’s also a chance that Evans may appear live to announce a secret teaser, which will be shown exclusively in theaters during Avatar: Fire and Ash. Additionally, on that same day, Marvel is expected to launch an official Avengers: Doomsday website featuring an apocalyptic countdown to December 18, 2026.
