Colman Domingo is the new Batman in the audio series ‘The Riddler: Secrets in the Dark,’ coming to Spotify on October 10.
In March 2023, Actor Hasan Minhaj, who plays Edward Nygma (The Riddler) revealed a new podcast collaboration between Spotify and DC titled ‘The Riddler: Secrets in the Dark.’ He also confirmed that characters like Batman, Barbara Gordon, and Alfred from ‘Batman Unburied’ would be part of this new series.
In the series, Domingo’s Caped Crusader and Minhaj’s Riddler are forced to team up when a vigilante starts targeting Gotham’s villains. Given that Nygma is one of Batman’s major adversaries.
In ‘The Riddler: Secrets In The Dark,’ the cast includes Gina Rodriguez as Barbara Gordon, Calum Worthy as The Messenger, Hannah Simone as Nadira, Peyton Crim as Killer Croc, Jim Pirri as Arnold Flass, Jason Isaacs as Alfred, Ashly Burch as Vicki Vale, Hugh Scott as Calendar Man, Bri Giger as Summer Gleeson, Aflamu Johnson as King Tut, and Amy Argyle as Bat-Tech.
The executive producers for this audio drama project are David S. Goyer, Keith Levine, and Gracie Wheelan from Phantom Four. The series will be available on October 10th, with all eight episodes releasing on the same day.
