David Harbour, who is returning as Red Guardian in Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday, says the movie is bigger than the Stranger Things series.
Speaking to Extra TV during the premiere of the DTF: St. Louis series, Harbour said that Doomsday is even bigger than Stranger Things Season 5.
He said, “[The] movie is huge. I thought that ‘Stranger Things’ 5 was big, but this is kind of the biggest thing I’ve ever done.”
Harbour has confirmed that the reshoots for Avengers: Doomsday will take place in London in a few weeks.
“We’ve got a little more shooting left on this Avengers movie. […] They have a couple more days they want to do.”
Harbour says he’s excited for fans to see Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.
“I’m really excited for the fans to see what Downey’s doing. I think he’s really special.”
According to Harbour, he’s building a brotherhood with Sebastian Stan and Wyatt Russell in Avengers: Doomsday:
“I’m building sort of a brotherhood with my boys, the Winter Soldier and also with Wyatt Russell… And I like that bromance between the three of us.”
In a recent leak, we reported that the four “main” characters of Avengers: Doomsday are Doctor Doom, Reed Richards, Steve Rogers, and Thor.
“Victor Von Doom apparently has the greatest presence in the story, while Steve Rogers is reportedly all over the movie and interacts with Loki at least once.”
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
