DC’s ‘Blue Beetle‘ has earned $80 million worldwide at the box office. During its second weekend in domestic theaters (3,871 locations), it made $12.8 million, marking a 50.4% drop. The total domestic earnings of the film now stand at $46.3 million.

‘Blue Beetle’ is fantastic, with impressive visuals, lively Latino music, thrilling action, and humorous moments. Every scene is well-executed, particularly the Blue Beetle suit transformation. Directed by Angel Manuel Soto, and stars Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle, Bruna Marquezine as Jenny Kord, Belissa Escobedo as Milagros Reyes, Susan Sarandon as Victoria Kord, and Raoul Trujillo as Conrad Carapax/The Indestructible Man.
The plot follows: Recent college grad Jaime Reyes returns home full of aspirations for his future, only to find that home is not quite as he left it. As he searches to find his purpose in the world, fate intervenes when Jaime unexpectedly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology: the Scarab. When the Scarab suddenly chooses Jaime to be its symbiotic host, he is bestowed with an incredible suit of armor capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the Super Hero Blue Beetle.
