Universal Pictures released the first ‘Despicable Me 4‘ trailer, featuring Gru (Steve Carell), the beloved former supervillain now working for the Anti-Villain League, and his family faces escaped criminal Maxime Le Mal.
Directed by Chris Renaud and Patrick Delage, with a screenplay by Mike White. The film serves as the sequel to ‘Despicable Me 3‘ (2017), marking the fourth main installment and the sixth overall in the Despicable Me franchise. Check out the poster below.
What is the Plot of ‘Despicable Me 4’?
According to Universal Pictures, ‘Despicable Me 4’ follows Gru (Carell) and Lucy (Kristen Wiig) and their girls —Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier), and Agnes (Madison Polan)—as they welcome a new member to the Gru family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad. Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell) and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina (Sofia Vergara), and the family is forced to go on the run.
The film features fresh new characters voiced by Joey King (Bullet Train), Emmy winner Stephen Colbert (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert), and Chloe Fineman (Saturday Night Live). Pierre Coffin returns as the iconic voice of the Minions and Oscar nominee Steve Coogan returns as Silas Ramsbottom.
