Doctor Doom Wants to Rebuild the Multiverse to Save His Family in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’

Robert Downey Jr.‘s Doctor Doom has a big plan for the multiverse incursions and the creation of Battleworld in Avengers: Doomsday. A new leak from a scooper confirms that Doctor Doom isn’t creating the incursions; instead, he is speeding them up.

According to scooper @MyTimeToShineH, Doctor Doom isn’t trying to stop the incursions in Avengers: Doomsday. He’s speeding them up so he can rebuild the multiverse and bring his family back.

According to the leaked plot, Avengers: Endgame led to universes colliding, almost everyone dies, and Doom is the last one standing. He then builds Battleworld and wipes their memories. Doomsday isn’t the finale; it’s the funeral before Avengers: Secret Wars.

Doom is collecting heroes across the multiverse, including heroes from Earth-616. In the post-credits scene of Avengers: Endgame – Encore, Doctor Doom kidnaps Bruce Banner. Also, a lot of people who have touched the Time Stone, interacted with the TVA, or been involved in the time heist are reportedly on a list.

In a recent interview with Empire, the Russo Brothers revealed that Doctor Doom is collecting more heroes in Avengers: Doomsday.

“Look, his interest may extend beyond just Bruce Banner. So, that’s what we’ll say about that.”

The directors haven’t confirmed or denied whether Hulk will appear in Avengers: Doomsday.

“[Bruce Banner] is certainly involved in the story that revolves around Doom.”

Tony Stark’s ‘Endgame’ Choices Could Connect to ‘Avengers: Doomsday’

Joe Russo says that Avengers: Endgame contains clues that will directly pay off in Avengers: Doomsday. Some of the choices made by Tony Stark and other characters in Endgame could have consequences for the events of Doomsday.

Russo revealed that certain lines of dialogue from the original Endgame will have an impact on Avengers: Doomsday.

Joe said, “I will say this: there are clues in Endgame, things that are said, that will pay off in Doomsday. So if you want to go back and revisit the movie again—not the new footage but lines that are said in the movie—[there are some] that have an impact on Doomsday.”

Here’s the new logline for Avengers: Doomsday, revealed on Fandango:

“Universes collide and the Multiverse Saga begins its final chapter in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. Beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and ultimately face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered. Avengers: Doomsday releases exclusively in cinemas on December 18, 2026. The film will be available in INFINITY VISION, a new certification for Premium Large Format (PLF) cinemas.
