Searchlight Pictures revealed the trailer for Eva Longoria‘s ‘Flamin’ Hot‘ starring Jesse Garcia as Richard Montañez, a former janitor at Frito-Lay, gained recognition for his claim of inventing the popular snack food, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. The film is scheduled to premiere on June 9, 2023, on Hulu and Disney+.

‘Flamin’ Hot’ is the story of Richard Montañez, the Frito Lay janitor who channeled his Mexican American heritage and upbringing to turn Flamin’ Hot Cheetos into a snack that disrupted the food industry and became a global phenomenon.
The film is directed by Eva Longoria and written by Lewis Colick and Linda Yvette. It draws its inspiration from the memoir titled “A Boy, a Burrito and a Cookie: From Janitor to Executive” written by Richard Montañez, who is the central figure of the story
In the film “Flamin’ Hot,” Jesse Garcia plays Richard Montañez, Annie Gonzalez takes on the role of Judy Montañez; Richard’s wife, Dennis Haysbert as Clarence C. Baker, Tony Shalhoub as Roger Enrico, Emilio Rivera as Vacho Montañez, Matt Walsh, Pepe Serna, Bobby Soto, Jimmy Gonzales, and Brice Gonzalez.
‘Flamin’ Hot’ is scheduled to be released on June 9, 2023, by Hulu and Disney+.
