The VOD release date for The Naked Gun, starring Liam Neeson, has been revealed, just one month after its theatrical release.
The film will be available to buy or rent on digital HD platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV starting September 2, 2025.

The Naked Gun stars Neeson as Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., Pamela Anderson as Beth Davenport, Paul Walter Hauser as Capt. Ed Hocken Jr., Danny Huston as Richard Cane, CCH Pounder as Chief Davis, Kevin Durand as Sig Gustafson, Liza Koshy as Detective Barnes, Eddie Yu as Detective Park, Moses Jones as “Not Nordberg Jr.,” Cody Rhodes as a bartender, and Busta Rhymes as a bank robber. Jon Anik, Michael Bisping, Bruce Buffer, Dave Bautista, John McCarthy, and “Weird Al” Yankovic all appear as themselves.
The film is directed by Akiva Schaffer, who co-wrote the screenplay with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand. Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins produced the film under their production company, Fuzzy Door Productions.
The Naked Gun was released in theaters in the United States by Paramount Pictures on August 1, 2025. The film has grossed $77 million worldwide.
