Exclusive: Ben Affleck’s Batman Scenes Were Removed From Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

Exclusive: Ben Affleck‘s Bruce Wayne/Batman scenes have been cut from DC’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which is set to be released in theaters on December 25, 2023. It was previously reported that Affleck’s Bruce Wayne would make a cameo appearance in the film. Aquaman actor Jason Momoa posted an image of himself with Affleck on Instagram with the caption “Reunited Bruce and Arthur.”

Is It True That Ben Affleck’s Batman Scenes Were Cut From Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom?

According to a source, Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman scenes in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom were trimmed. The film received the worst rating during the six test screenings, which was the main reason for its removal. As a result, Affleck’s Batman will make his final appearance in The Flash, releasing on June 16, 2023.

Is Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Rated Poorly?

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom had almost six test screenings, but the film still did not look great. The source said, “I’ve consistently heard over the last half year or so that it’s boring, not as good as the first, and potentially one of the worst DCEU movies.”

There’s a reason I’ve been avoiding any questions about AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM but since @ViewerAnon put it out there, It brings me no joy to back him up and tell you that test screenings for this film have not been good. Really hoping Wan fixes this movie before December.
