Following the leak of Avengers: Doomsday featuring Chris Evans returning as Steve Rogers, a second teaser description has now leaked, focusing on Chris Hemsworth’s Thor.
According to scooper MyTimeToShineHello, Avengers: Doomsday reportedly carries a strong theme of fatherhood. Steve Rogers is said to have a son, Thor a daughter, while Robert Downey Jr.‘s Doctor Doom has lost his son and is seeking revenge.
Here’s the second teaser description:
“The Thor teaser reportedly shows him in the woods, praying to Odin before the final battle, hoping to return safely to his daughter.”
A major leak from a month ago reported that Gorr’s daughter, Love, is now being raised by Hemsworth’s Thor. According to the source, she will be the first to sense an incoming cosmic threat in Avengers: Doomsday.
The first trailer, which focuses on Steve Rogers, opens with a motorcycle pulling up as Steve steps off the bike. The scene appears to show the house where Steve and Peggy lived at the end of Avengers: Endgame. Steve is then seen placing his suit down before holding his son, smiling as he looks down at him.
The second teaser focuses on Thor, the third teaser centers on Doctor Doom, and the final teaser will focus on the entire film.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past).
