Yes. Henry Cavill returned as Superman in the post-credits of Black Adam. In the post-credits, Superman appeared from the smoke and he met Johnson’s Black Adam between the 2 titans. This will be a huge surprise for Cavill’s Superman fans, and he is set to return in future DC films.
The film is directed by Spanish director Jaume Collet-Serra. The film also stars Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi as Isis, Marwan Kenzari as Sabbac, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate.
The plot follows, “In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam has bestowed the almighty powers of the gods. After using these powers for vengeance, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Nearly 5,000 years have passed, and Black Adam has gone from man to myth to legend. Now free, his unique form of justice, born out of rage, is challenged by modern-day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone.”
Black Adam released in theaters on 21 October 2022. The film has grossed $393 million worldwide and has been declared a box-office bomb.
