The first look at Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday is expected to release this fall, according to an insider.
Daniel Richtman reports that Marvel Studios is planning to debut the teaser for Avengers: Doomsday, starring Robert Downey Jr., alongside the release of James Cameron‘s Avatar: Fire and Ash, which is scheduled to hit theaters on December 19, 2025.
The trailer for Avengers: Doomsday will premiere in theaters before being officially released on social platforms, including YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and Facebook.
Marvel is planning a bigger marketing campaign for Avengers: Doomsday starting in two months. The film, with an estimated budget of $250 million, wrapped in September and has now entered the post-production stage. During this stage, multiple reshoots are expected in the coming months to accommodate actors with scheduling conflicts.

Most recently, scooper @MyTimeToShineH revealed that “There is a Spider-Man in Avengers: Doomsday.” However, it has not yet been confirmed whether Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, or Andrew Garfield will appear. As previously reported, Avengers: Doomsday will be packed with surprising variants of heroes from across the multiverse, all gathering in the Void.
Doomsday is directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.
