Sydney Sweeney (“Anyone but You” and “Immaculate”) and Johnny Depp (“The Professor” and “Pirates of the Caribbean”) will star in the new supernatural thriller ‘Day Drinker,’ directed by Marc Webb (“The Amazing Spider-Man” and “500 Days of Summer”).

Recently, on X, Sweeney herself has come out to debunk Jeff Sneider’s reports of her starring in a movie alongside Depp. She wrote, “I woke up to rumors anyway. Go see ‘Immaculate’ in theaters this weekend!”
What is the ‘Day Drinker’ About?
‘Day Drinker’ is said to be about the bond between an enigmatic stranger (Depp) and a bartender mourning (Sweeney) the loss of her lover. It will explore themes of love, friendship, and revenge, set in beautiful coastal France, Portugal, and Spain.
