The filming start date for Marvel‘s ‘Fantastic Four‘ is now in Q3 2024. Pedro Pascal, who was initially part of Zach Cregger’s ‘Weapons,’ has exited the project to accommodate his schedule, which includes commitments to HBO’s ‘The Last of Us‘ Season 2, as confirmed by The InSneider.
Originally scheduled for January 2024 at Pinewood Studios in England, ‘Fantastic Four’ filming delay may now impact its release date.
Pascal resumed filming for ‘Gladiator 2‘ in January 2024 and has joined the cast of Marvel’s ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot, taking on the role of Mister Fantastic/Dr. Reed Richards.
Directed by Matt Shakman from a screenplay by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer. The rumored cast includes Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Jake Gyllenhaal as Mister Fantastic, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the Thing.
According to reports, Anya Taylor-Joy is being considered for the female villain role, which we recently mentioned would feature a female Silver Surfer as the herald of Galactus in the film.
The film is produced by Kevin Feige, Grant Curtis, and Nick Pepin.
‘Fantastic Four’ will hit theaters on May 2, 2025.
