Finn Wolfhard, who plays the role of Mike Wheeler in Netflix’s Stranger Things, has revealed that he read the script for Season 5’s first three episodes but still doesn’t know the ending. The production of Season 5 of Stranger Things has been delayed as the Duffer brothers, the creators of the show, have joined the writers’ strike initiated by the Writers Guild of America. The first look at season 5 may reveal at the Netflix Tudum event.
Finn Wolfhard Reveals Reading First Three Episodes of Stranger Things Season 5
During an interview with Collider, Wolfhard was asked about the final season of Stranger Things. He said, “I think a lot of people will be happy with getting back—it’s the last season, so we kind of want to get back to the roots of why the show was so special in the first place and why the dynamics are so special in the first place, and sort of getting back to that. It’s going to be really exciting. I’m excited, obviously, to go back and shoot it. I think it’s going to be very sad, but I’m also just excited, as a fan, to get into it, and I’m excited to see where everyone goes—I don’t even know how it ends yet, truly. I’ve only read the first three, so we’ll see. But yeah, I’m excited to see where all the characters’ journeys go.”
Recently, Wolfhard joined PlayStation Playmakers as an influencer, alongside LeBron James and Rina Sawayama, to celebrate gaming and connect with fans. Also, Wolfhard has written a script for the horror comedy “Hell of a Summer,” directed by Billy Bryk.
In the final episode of Stranger Things season 4, Hopper reunited with Joyce (Winona Ryder) and his adopted daughter, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), and this will likely continue over to the show’s final episodes.
