Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now playing in theaters and has broken box office records. The film has already grossed $304 million at the worldwide box office and is marching toward a $900 million+ global opening weekend.
The opening montage of Spider-Man: Brand New Day shows Tom Holland’s Spider-Man fighting multiple villains from the past four years, including Marvin Jones III‘s Tombstone. Even with just 12 seconds of screentime, he won over audiences.
On Instagram, Josh Weston, the Oscar- and BAFTA-winning prosthetic makeup artist who worked on Spider-Man: Brand New Day, shared BTS images of Jones III’s Tombstone, revealing the character’s look test.

Recently, Billy Clements, who plays Ramrod in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, also revealed that many of Ramrod’s scenes, along with several well-known actors, were completely removed from the movie during the editing of the final version of the film.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink as Jean Grey alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
