Warning: This post contains potential spoilers for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday.
The first looks at Doctor Doom’s second armor and the costumes for Captain America, Bob, Black Panther, and Red Guardian from Avengers: Doomsday were displayed at Disney’s D23 event.

It has already been reported that Doctor Doom will wear at least three different costumes in Avengers: Doomsday. The second armor shown at D23 is reportedly the same one Doom wears in the post-credit scene of The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Doom first wears this armor when he arrives at the new Avengers Tower alongside the Fantastic Four and Thor. He is the mystery character who was removed from that shot in the first trailer. Doom is actually standing among the Fantastic Four, while the heroes are still unaware that he is the villain causing chaos across the multiverse. Later, Doom will change into his second and final costume after completing his mission.
Below, you can see the costumes for Captain America, Bob, Black Panther, and Red Guardian displayed at D23.
In the new D23 “Special Look” for Avengers: Doomsday, the footage opens with Sue Storm saying, “Victor was always the smartest guy in every room. He used to be different. He used to be kind. He used to be caring. And then everything he loved was taken from him. I knew he was lost… but I did not realize that he was broken.”
This is the emotional gut punch that the early teasers and first trailer only hinted at. The character teasers (Steve’s quiet home life, Thor’s warning, Xavier staring at the sky, and Wakanda/FF/Namor alliances) were about the heroes preparing. This one is about the man who already lost everything and decided the Multiverse itself is the problem.
Reed Richards is seen in the ruins, grabbing Doom’s cloak and asking, “Victor, did you do this?!”
Doom says, “All of you have lived stolen lives… but now you must give them back.”
A montage shows the heroes with their loved ones (Scott + Cassie, Johnny + Franklin, Steve + infant, Thor + Love, Shuri, Xavier, Magneto, Cyclops, Loki…). The “stolen lives” line hits every single one of them.
Extended Thor vs. Doom: Stormbreaker is blocked, and Thor is blasted aside with green energy like he’s nothing.
At the end, Doom raises an army of Sentinels. “Hell answers to me… for I am Doom.”
Here’s the official new plot synopsis for Avengers: Doomsday:
“Universes collide, and the Multiverse Saga begins its final chapter in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. Beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and ultimately face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered. Robert Downey Jr., who led the Avengers series as Iron Man, makes a shocking return as the evil scientist Doctor Doom. Familiar heroes like Steve Rogers and Thor are joined by a new generation of heroes, hinting at the largest assembly in history.”
