It’s official: Elodie Yung is confirmed to return as Elektra in Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, following her last appearance in 2017’s The Defenders.
Recently, Yung, as Elektra, was spotted filming on the Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 set in Dumbo, Brooklyn, on June 23, 2026, in New York City.
In the new set images, Yung’s Elektra is seen standing on a rooftop ledge at night. Elektra’s updated live-action costume blends her classic comic-book look with the grounded, tactical style of the Netflix/MCU Daredevil series. It features a deep red and black color scheme, a sleeveless leather-style vest with red accents, black leather pants, combat boots, and red forearm wraps with fingerless gloves.
Below, you can see the footage of Yung’s Elektra walking in a long black hooded coat. She raises both hands and makes a quick finger-gun/peace sign gesture, then turns, opens a glass door, and walks inside the building.

In Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again, Matt Murdock (Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, fights for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (D’Onofrio) pursues his own political ambitions in New York City. When their past identities begin to resurface, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
It is reported that Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 will wrap principal photography in July 2026. Sheila Rivera, Buck Cashman, Heather Glenn, Kirsten McDuffie, Wilson Fisk, Bullseye, and Karen Page are all expected to return. Sheila Rivera is the new mayor of New York, as seen in the first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Luke Cage, Danny Rand, and Jessica Jones will return and protect New York while Daredevil is behind bars.
Insider Alex P (via The Cosmic Circus) revealed that Bullseye is reportedly after Danielle Cage in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3. The insider also claims the season will feature a fight scene between Bullseye and Elektra.
According to Dario Scardapane, Season 3 will feature a potential one-take fight sequence between Matt Murdock and imprisoned AVTF agents in Rikers Prison.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is set to premiere in March 2027.
