The first look at Ma Gnucci from Marvel Television’s Special Presentation, The Punisher: One Last Kill, has been revealed.
It is reported that Judith Light is playing the role of Ma Gnucci, a brutal crime boss in The Punisher: One Last Kill.

In a recent interview, Jon Bernthal said The Punisher: One Last Kill takes inspiration from Welcome Back, Frank.
Bernthal said, “Welcome Back, Frank is an exploration and journey of honesty. That honesty was my north star… Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon gave us a character with clarity of purpose and absolute commitment, someone who channels loss into action with brutal honesty.
That ferocity and vulnerability is what makes Frank endure. It’s what I hope to bring to every version of him, whether I’m embodying him on screen or writing him on the page.”

In the comics, Isabella Carmela Magdalena “Ma” Gnucci is the ruthless head of the Gnucci Crime Family, a Mafia-style organization that controls much of New York City’s criminal underworld. She also holds influence over the mayor, police commissioner, and works closely with her three sons.
Frank Castle becomes her enemy after killing her sons, leading Ma to hire mercenaries to hunt him down. Later, Frank kills her brother Dino, and Ma is left without her arms and legs after their brutal conflict.
The Special Presentation will follow Frank as he “searches for meaning beyond revenge, when an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight.”
It stars Bernthal stars as Frank Castle / The Punisher, alongside Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle, his close friend and former U.S. Navy SARC who now leads a therapy group after losing part of his leg in combat, with Roe Rancell as Dennis, Mila Jaymes as Charli, and Ma Gnucci appearing as a powerful crime boss.
The Punisher: One Last Kill is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and co-written by Green and Jon Bernthal for Disney+. Based on the Marvel Comics character, it will be the third Marvel Studios Special Presentation in the MCU, sharing continuity with the franchise’s films and series.
The Punisher: One Last Kill will premiere on Disney+ on May 12, one week after the Season 2 finale of Daredevil: Born Again.
