Ryan Reynolds has officially shared the stills at Dafne Keen as Laura/X-23 from Marvel’s ‘Deadpool & Wolverine‘. Reynolds also shared a praising statement on her return following the release of Logan in 2017.
On X (Twitter), Ryan Reynolds (@VancityReynolds) wrote, “When Dafne Keen shows up in Deadpool & Wolverine, she shines her light toward the big beating heart of the movie. Dafne and Hugh standing next to each other is a pinch me moment. It stands on the shoulders of the Logan film, which is both a masterpiece and a giant.”
He added, “Shawn Levy and I have been living with her every day in the edit and sound mix throughout a pretty relentless postproduction. Even three days ago, as we went through the film’s gag reel. I still get geeked out seeing her in those sunglasses.”

Dafne Keen Confirms Laura/X-23 in Deadpool & Wolverine is a Direct Continuation from Logan
In a recent interview on ComicBook’s Phase Zero podcast, Keen confirmed that Laura/X-23 in Deadpool & Wolverine is “not a variant” but a direct continuation of the same character from Logan.
Keen said, “[Marvel Studios] had an answer for anything.” Keen added, “[Laura] is not a variant. [She] went along with the kids for a few years and got zapped. She’s been in [The Void] for a few years now.”
“[Laura] lost her accent because [she] has been in America for a while now… she’s a very intelligent kid.”
