The first potential look at Rebecca Romijn as Mystique from the X-Men in Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday has reportedly leaked online. See the image below.
In the image, Mystique is seen wearing a blue and white tactical-style X-Men suit — a form-fitting bodysuit featuring a deep blue base with white armored panels across the chest, shoulders, arms, and legs, complemented by a gold utility belt with an “X” insignia buckle.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Romijn opened up about returning as Mystique in Avengers: Doomsday. She said, “It’s been incredibly fun, surreal, and wonderful to be back with my old cast as well as the new cast.”
During production, Romijn said it felt very surreal returning as Mystique in Avengers: Doomsday. “It feels great. We’re currently in production. I’ve been going back and forth between Star Trek and Doomsday, so it’s been a very eventful summer.”
According to reports, the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday will be released next month and shown exclusively in theaters during Avatar: Fire and Ash. It is also expected that the second phase of the “chair reveal” is planned for December 18, 2025.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.
