Florence Pugh calls Lewis Pullman’s Bob (Sentry) “useless” and says Yelena Belova has a “sweet spot” for him. Yelena sees parts of herself in Bob and likes taking care of him because she has always looked after others. She enjoys looking after him, especially because he is “absolutely useless.” Their relationship in Thunderbolts* is both funny and caring.
In an interview with Empire Online, Pugh spoke about Yelena Belova’s relationship with Pullman’s Bob in Thunderbolts*: “Bob is going through what all of them are probably, secretly, going through.”

Pugh added, “Yelena sees parts of herself in him. She’s always been someone who wants to look after people. She has a sweet spot for him and essentially likes looking after him because he’s useless. He’s absolutely useless.”
