Florence Pugh, who plays the role of Yelena Belova in the MCU will be paid an eight-figure paycheck for Marvel’s villain-centric Thunderbolts and for an Untitled Mcu Film. Thunderbolts is scheduled to hit theaters on July 26, 2024.
How Robert Downey Jr. Made $50 Million For The Avengers Film?
According to THR, The MCU stars get paid for their character experience. it took a decade for Robert Downey Jr. to earn $50 million for the first Avengers film. For Avengers: Endgame, Downey was paid $75 million breaks down to an upfront payment of $20 million and then an 8% back-end profit from the film, rounding up to $55 million in total. As confirmed A+ stars aren’t making this amount. The studios consider more value to iconic characters like Spider-Man and Batman than the famous movie stars who are playing them.
Marvel character Yelena Belova is created by Devin Grayson in the late ’90s. She came out to the public that she only received $5,000 of the promised $12,500 for the character’s use in Black Widow. When these were reported Marvel agreed to pay the remaining $7,500.
In MCU, Pugh played the role of Yelena Belova in ‘Black Widow’ alongside Scarlett Johansson and after that, she appeared in the Disney+ miniseries Hawkeye with Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld.
