It is almost confirmed now that Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani), Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), and Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) will return in Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday.
In the latest Alex Perez Q&A (via The Cosmic Circus), it is reported that Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, and Cassie Lang will appear in Avengers: Doomsday, though the full Young Avengers team won’t be formed before Doomsday—they may officially come together in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Billy and Tommy Maximoff, the twin sons of Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) and Vision, might reunite in Secret Wars in a way similar to the comics. Also, other young heroes like Tommy (Speed) could be involved, based on concept art leaks.
Recently, a leaked concept art piece shows Wong, Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, Cassie Lang, Billy Maximoff, and his brother Tommy Maximoff from Avengers: Secret Wars. Check it out below.
The Russo Brothers will direct the upcoming Avengers movies, and Stephen McFeely will pen the script.
In a recent interview with The Playlist’s The Discourse podcast, Christopher Markus, the co-writer of Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, said he couldn’t return to write Doomsday and Secret Wars because of his work with AGBO. He says that Marvel movies require a full-time, years-long commitment, which he couldn’t take on right now.
