Pixar has officially confirmed that the Incredibles 3 script is currently in development.
During the Disney D23 Brazil event on Friday, Pixar revealed that they have started working on the script for Incredibles 3. Check out the official logo below.
Brad Bird, who directed The Incredibles and Incredibles 2, is developing the script and will return to direct the third film. It will be a sequel to Incredibles 2 and the third flagship installment of the Incredibles franchise.
The first film, released in November 2004, won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Its sequel, Incredibles 2, released in June 2018, received mostly positive reviews and set the record for the best opening weekend for an animated film. Together, the series has grossed $1.8 billion worldwide.
