The first look at Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Indy’s goddaughter Helena in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny revealed. Waller-Bridge described her character as “a mystery and a wonder.” Check out the image below.
In an interview with Empire, Waller-Bridge told her character Helen as “slippery, charming, the girl next door, a grifter.” It sounds like a chip off the old block, right? Harrison Ford thinks so, as he described Helen as “a pioneer in ethical accounting.”
In the film, Harrison Ford will reprise his role as Indiana Jones, in his fifth and final performance of the role in over 40 years, and John Rhys-Davies returning as Sallah. The film also stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones and Antonio Banderas.
Directed by James Mangold, with a script co-written by Mangold, Jez Butterworth, and John-Henry Butterworth. Steven Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel are producing.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will hit theaters on June 30, 2023.
