Speaking to British GQ, Coolidge, known for her role as Tanya McQuoid in HBO’s The White Lotus, reflects on how her recent success has changed her life, particularly in regard to the parties she now attends. Coolidge mentions the trophies she has received, including an Emmy and a Golden Globe, for her role as Tanya. She said, “They wouldn’t let me in for a decade.”
During Variety’s Actors on Actors with Jeremy Allen White, Coolidge said she fell in love with angry chefs while she worked as a waitress. “I just like the way they throw the food down. It was so sexy. They’d be like, ‘Take it. Just take it.’ And there’s something about a man who can do something fast.”
Coolidge was born on August 28, 1961, in Boston, Massachusetts. Coolidge began her acting career in the early 1990s. She is best known for her roles in popular comedy films such as “Legally Blonde” and its sequel, “American Pie,” and “Best in Show.”
