The first trailer for the fourth installment in the Planet of the Apes reboot franchise, titled ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,’ will be shown in theaters before ‘The Marvels,’ and it will be released online soon, as reported by Cryptic HD QUALITY.
Directed by Wes Ball, written by Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Patrick Aison, and produced by Joe Hartwick Jr., Jaffa, Silver, and Jason Reed, it’s the sequel to ‘War for the Planet of the Apes‘ (2017) and the fourth film in the Planet of the Apes reboot franchise.
In the film, Owen Teague plays Cornelius, the chimpanzee son of Caesar, alongside a cast that includes Freya Allan, Peter Macon, Eka Darville, Kevin Durand, Travis Jeffery, Neil Sandilands, Sara Wiseman, Lydia Peckham, Ras-Samuel Weld A’abzgi, William H. Macy, and Dichen Lachman.
In an interview with CinemaBlend, Andy Serkis says ”Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ is going to blow people’s minds.
“I think Wes Ball is going to do an amazing job with this film. I think it’s, from what I’ve heard and what I’ve seen, there’s some amazing conceptual artwork. And where they’ve chosen to land the story and take off with the next iteration, I think it’s gonna blow people’s minds.”
What is the Plot of ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’?
Years after the events of ‘War for the Planet of the Apes’ (2017), multiple ape clans thrive in the oasis Caesar once led them to, while humans have reverted to a feral state. One ape leader seeks to use Caesar’s teachings to dominate other clans and uncover hidden human technology, while another ape, along with a human girl, sets out on a quest for freedom.
