Lee Cronin’s ‘The Mummy’ VOD Release Date Revealed

The VOD release date for Lee Cronin‘s The Mummy has been revealed.

The film will be available to buy or rent on Digital HD platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies starting May 19, 2026.

The young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace. Eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them, but what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare.

The film, written and directed by Cronin, offers a fresh reimagining of The Mummy franchise. It is produced by James Wan and Jason Blum through Atomic Monster and Blumhouse Productions, alongside Wicked/Good. The film holds a 6.4/10 rating on IMDb, 46% on Rotten Tomatoes, and 2.8/5 on Letterboxd.

The film stars Jack Reynor as Charlie Cannon, Laia Costa as Larissa Cannon, May Calamawy as Detective Dalia Zaki, Natalie Grace as Katie Cannon, Emily Mitchell as young Katie, Shylo Molina as Sebastián Cannon, Dean Allen Williams as young Sebastián, Billie Roy as Maud Cannon, Verónica Falcón as Carmen Santiago, and Hayat Kamille as the Magician.
