Note: This article contains spoilers for Amazon’s Spider-Noir series.
The first full trailer for Amazon’s live-action Spider-Noir has been released during CCXPMX26 in Mexico City. The trailer shows Nicolas Cage’s 1930s-era web-slinger facing off against Brendan Gleeson‘s superpowered character and multiple villains.

The trailer also features the first look at Man-Spider, who plays a major part in the film. Reports are that the origin of Ben’s spider bite, happening through one of his war buddies during WW1, is an interesting change, with Man-Spider being the show’s substitute for the Spider-Totem.
With Spider-Noir, Sony is offering a unique presentation by releasing the project in two versions: “Authentic Black & White” and “True-Hue Full Color.” The series is based on the comic Spider-Man Noir but exists as a stand-alone story separate from Sony’s films and the Into the Spider-Verse franchise.

The story of Spider-Noir focuses on a gangland boss known as Silvermane, played by Gleeson, who has been the subject of repeated assassination attempts. Maybe that’s just one of the hazards of his business, or maybe there’s a broader scheme at play. Reilly starts to believe something’s amiss when an arsonist suspected of setting a blaze at Silvermane’s mansion reveals he can spark fire from his hands. Then Reilly runs afoul of hired muscle named Flint Marko (Jack Huston), who invites him to go pound sand—also known as engaging in fisticuffs.
The show stars Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly / The Spider, Lamorne Morris as Robbie Robertson, Li Jun Li as Cat Hardy, Karen Rodriguez as Janet, Abraham Popoola as Lonnie Lincoln / Tombstone, Jack Huston as Flint Marko / Sandman, and Brendan Gleeson as Silvermane.
Oren Uziel (22 Jump Street) and Steve Lightfoot (The Punisher) serve as co-showrunners and executive producers on Spider-Noir. The series also brings in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse creators Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Amy Pascal as executive producers. Harry Bradbeer will direct the first two episodes while also serving as an executive producer, with Pascal producing through her company, Pascal Pictures.
Produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, with Lord and Miller currently under an overall deal at Sony.
Spider-Noir will premiere on May 25, 2026, on MGM+ in the United States and will consist of eight episodes. All episodes will be released globally on Prime Video on May 27.
