Logan Kim (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, The Walking Dead: Dead City) has reportedly been cast as Amadeus Cho in the MCU, as confirmed by insider Daniel Richtman on X.
Who is Amadeus Cho in the MCU?
In Marvel Comics, Amadeus Cho is one of the seventh-smartest people in the world—with a genius-level intellect. He excels in mathematics, physics, and computing, which allows him to calculate probabilities and outcomes in battle rapidly. The character, created by Greg Pak and Takeshi Miyazawa, first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 (2005).
Cho is connected to Bruce Banner—the Hulk. He once became a Hulk himself, known as ‘The Totally Awesome Hulk.’ After an encounter with Bruce Banner, Cho absorbs some of the Hulk’s gamma radiation, transforming into his own version of the Hulk—retaining his intelligence while having the Hulk’s strength and powers.
What is Marvel planning with Kim? I don’t know how they are going to add his version of Amadeus Cho to the MCU. We’ll see how they develop this character and when we’ll see him. No official update has come out yet regarding his casting.
Kim is known for his debut in 2020’s The Princess Bride, 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the TV series The Walking Dead: Dead City, and 2024’s Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.
