The Lost Daughter tells the story of a middle-aged woman named Leda (Olivia Colman) who is on vacation in Greece and becomes fixated on a young mother and daughter she sees on the beach. Leda’s past experiences as a mother and her own unresolved issues come to the surface as she becomes increasingly drawn to the family, leading to a confrontation that forces her to confront her own guilt and regrets.
