Marvel Studios’ upcoming projects after Avengers: Secret Wars will feature the Supernatural Saga.

According to a new report from an insider, “A special presentation featuring a character from the mystical/dark side is in production at Marvel and will be released during this saga.” The special is reportedly set to introduce an important character for Doctor Strange 3, possibly Mephisto, Doctor Voodoo, or Ghost Rider, as they are rumored to appear in the film.

Recently, Alex Perez (via The Cosmic Circus) reported that Marvel’s darker and supernatural projects are set to be part of the next saga, possibly including Ghost Rider, Blade, and others.

The plan for the MCU’s next saga after Avengers: Secret Wars will focus on cosmic, mutant, and supernatural themes. The side stories will serve as a foundation for introducing new characters and key elements for other productions, while the major events will revolve around these three central themes.

The supernatural side of the next MCU saga will reportedly be “very dark, very demonic, and something out of a Guillermo del Toro fever dream.”

Industry insider Daniel Richtman reported that the Midnight Sons project is back in development at Marvel after previously being put on hold. Michael Green, who had been attached as the screenwriter, is reportedly no longer involved with the project.
