Marvel Studios has officially released the second trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, featuring Chris Hemsworth as Thor and India Rose Hemsworth as Love. Last week, the trailer was leaked online after playing in theaters. Now, the HD trailer is available. Watch it below.
The trailer focuses on Thor’s fatherhood. It opens with Thor and Love living a grateful life following the events of Thor: Love and Thunder. Suddenly, a deadly battle looms, and Thor must prepare.
“Father, all my life I have answered every call—to honor, duty, and war. But now fate has given me something I never sought: a child, a life untouched by the storm. Lend me the strength of the All-Fathers so that I may fight once more, defeat one more enemy, and return home to her—not as a warrior, but as warmth; to teach her not battle, but stillness, the kind I never knew. Please, Father, heed my words.”
At the end, a black screen shows: “Thor will return in Avengers: Doomsday.”
In a recent interview with ETalk, Hemsworth talked about returning as Thor in Avengers: Doomsday.
Hemsworth said, “When we parted ways on the last film, we didn’t know if we were going to be doing this again, and here we are. Some of the old crew, like myself, are back, and then a lot of new folks are coming in.”
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.
