Marvel Studios to Revise Final Battle Sequence in ‘Captain America: Brave New World’

Marvel Studios reportedly changed the final battle in ‘Captain America: Brave New World‘; The Serpent Society will no longer be featured in the film.

What Changes Did Marvel Make in the Final Battle of ‘Captain America: Brave New World’?

According to Insider Daniel Richtman, scenes featuring Seth Rollins’s Klaus Voorhees, aka Cobra, from The Serpent Society will be removed, while Rosa Salazar’s Diamondback will remain in the film. The updated final battle will now involve Red Hulk.

The reshoots are scheduled to begin from May to August 2024. Recently, Marvel has hired Matthew Orton to write additional scenes for the film.

Directed by Julius Onah from a screenplay by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. The film stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Danny Ramirez as Joaquín Torres/Falcon, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Harrison Ford as President Thaddeus Ross, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph/Sabra, and Xosha Roquemore.

What is the Plot of ‘Captain America: Brave New World’?

The plot details of the film are as follows: In ‘Captain America: Brave New World,’ an international conflict over a new metal called Adamantium was discovered on Tiamut, the Celestial of the Eternals, which is now an island. Each country wants a piece of that new metal and claims the island as its own. Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross, who is now president, wants to reclaim the island and the Adamantium at all costs, and Sam Wilson’s Captain America gets in his way by trying to stop him by assembling a new group of heroes, including the new Falcon, to oppose him. Captain America will be fighting some other villains who are also trying to get their hands on Adamantium. It is also confirmed that a vibranium war will occur in Captain America: New World Order and Thunderbolts.

The first look at the upgraded Captain America suit has recently been revealed on a new Marvel Collector Corps box, featuring a stealth suit inspired by Steve Rogers from Avengers: Age of Ultron.

‘Captain America: Brave New World’ will hit theaters on February 14, 2025.
