Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday is close to production, and set construction is underway in London, UK. Most of the MCU stars are now appearing at the filming location.
On X, user @UnBoxPHD shared an image of the Avengers: Doomsday set currently being built. See the image below.
The same source also shared an image of Chris Hemsworth, who was spotted in London. Hemsworth will return as Thor in Doomsday.
Insider Daniel Richtman recently revealed a rumor that the filming of Avengers: Doomsday may be delayed until April instead of March due to the script not being ready.
The film will be directed by the Russo Brothers from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely.
During a recent episode of The Hot Mic, Jeff Sneider revealed that Avengers: Doomsday will open with Robert Downey Jr.‘s Doctor Doom, who will kill Kang and conclude his storyline in the MCU.
Doomsday is a multiverse film because it serves as the conclusion of the Multiverse Saga. The plot follows Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, who isn’t truly evil; he believes he is trying to save the multiverse from incursions. In his twisted logic, the only way for the multiverse to survive is to unify all universes in one place—Battleworld—under his rule. He sees this as the sole path to ensuring survival for everyone.
