A new report has revealed that the third and fourth trailers for Avengers: Doomsday will be released in the upcoming weeks.
According to Jeff Sneider via The Hot Mic, the X-Men are reportedly the focus of the third teaser for Avengers: Doomsday, which is said to be the major one. James Marsden’s Cyclops is also confirmed to appear in it.
Finally, the fourth trailer will focus on the Fantastic Four and the Wakandans, and will also feature several action scenes.
Marvel Studios recently released the first Avengers: Doomsday trailer, confirming Chris Evans’ return as Steve Rogers. The trailer shows Steve Rogers returning to his home from Avengers: Endgame. He arrives on his motorbike, later holds his Endgame suit as if preparing to suit up again, and is briefly seen smiling with his and Peggy Carter’s child. The teaser ends with the message: “Steve Rogers will return in Avengers: Doomsday.”
A leaked description of the second trailer follows, featuring Chris Hemsworth as Thor, praying to Odin. The description focuses on Thor saying:
“Father, all my life I have answered the calls of honor, duty, and battle. But fate offered me something I had never hoped for — a child, a life preserved from the storm.
Grant me the strength of all fathers, so that I can fight once more, defeat a new enemy, and return to her. Not as a warrior, but as a protector. She does not know war, but worry — the kind I have never known. I beg you, Father, hear my prayer.”
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.
