Warning: This post contains potential spoilers for Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars.
A new rumored plot detail for Marvel’s Avengers: Secret Wars has leaked online. Following the events of Avengers: Doomsday, Secret Wars will be set in both the 1984 and 2015 versions of the comics.
According to scooper MAJESTIC, Avengers: Secret Wars takes place eight years after the events of Avengers: Doomsday. All timelines and universes converge in the Void, creating Battleworld, which brings together many variations of different characters and new cities called domains.
It is reported that there will be evil versions of the heroes. The Infinity Stones return, with the Soul Stone being the most important of all. We will reportedly see a powerful, god-like version of Doctor Doom, as the Soul Stone can strip a being of cosmic power without destroying their body.
The surviving Avengers and the Champions are the main protagonists. (To clarify, the Avengers are a group of heroes: Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man; they all call themselves the Avengers.)
Doctor Doom will create a super-prison to contain villains, heroes, and cosmic entities.
Doom takes over Reed Richards’ family, taking Sue as his wife and Franklin and Valeria as his children. We will learn a lot about their rivalry and how a science-and-magic project ruined the Victor family because of Reed.
The only ways to survive the collapse of the multiverse are the Quantum Realm and the TVA ships (created by Ouroboros, O.B.). There is a character who is never named but will stand out in this movie.
Will Wanda Return in Avengers: Secret Wars?
Wanda will reportedly appear in Avengers: Secret Wars in a major role. She creates a hex around the world so that no one remembers their past lives. Doctor Doom has manipulated her. Wiccan, Speed, and the Champions will go to rescue their mother.

Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters and IMAX across the United States on December 18, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled for release on December 17, 2027.
